On December 1, 2025, during the PRIORITY ASIA 2025 Seminar in Tokyo, Masayoshi Son was being interviewed by Richard Attias, Chairman of the Executive Committee & Acting CEO of the FII Institute. The 16-minute conversation began smoothly, yet about three and a half minutes in, Masayoshi Son experienced repeated bouts of coughing, triggered by a respiratory viral infection that had likely start -a day or two earlier. Such moments of vulnerability remind us that even the strongest leaders benefit from simple, preventive solutions.
